   Hello,
   I am new here as well as new to using the DPS plug-in for iTunes on the Mac. I really like what I hear and very impressed overall. I have a Mac Pro using Digital (Toslink) to connect to my Edirol MA-20D (24 bit Digital) desktop monitors/speakers.

   Any chance that a profile can be created for these desktop monitors/speakers? It would be greatly appreciated! Does anyone have a recommendation for a currently available profile that I can use in the interim that would be somewhat in the range of the Edirol MA-20D's?

   Scott,

   As a starting point I always recommend Universal 1, Universal 5 and the Logitech Z series profiles as a good starting point for this type of speaker. Our research is showing that many devices overlap a great deal in ways that allow any given profile to sound excellent on many different audio devices. I'll have more on this shortly.

   Hi Joey. Where is the Logitech Z Series profile? All I see in the preferences area is one Logitech and it is for headphones. I have one of the Z series speakers and would love that one!! Thanks, Phil

   I have the Edoral MA-15D speakers (lower output, 15 x 2 W instead of 20 x 2 and a narrower frequency range; but higher digital sampling rate and a bass enhancer that I'm not sure the MA-20Ds have:

   These are one of only a few speakers available with optical inputs that are affordable for mortals, for the MacPro optical outputs to use, so it'd be nice to have a profile for them, please.
