Going to work with one of our artists in our Power Station studios in Pompano Beach tonight. A cool band, "Beyond The Unknown!" These guys are a cool mix of the 70's - 80-'s conceptual rock band "Yes" and "Dave Matthews" with the complexity in time signatures of a Dream Theater song. (Although the sound is more Dave Matthews and not so heavy like Dream Theater!)
These guys are a lot of fun and really good musicians. The drummer, Miguel Ortiz and bassist, Guillermo Vega are also part of the band, "Indium" in which I produced their debut album a couple years back that ended up in the hands of Universal Records and used for several license & distribution deals. Great guys & Great musicians!
"Beyond The Unknown" is a conceptual sound with what looks like going to become various collaborations between a variety of musicians, vocalists, and even writing teams. The ultimate product has options to cross a variety of demographics and musical styles.
Visit our studio's Facebook page for more info about "Beyond The Unknown" as well as the multitude of great artists that pass through our doors!
