I have, apparently, installed the plug-in (resides in HD>Library>Audio>Plug-ins>Hal) on my Macbook running 10.4.11 and iTunes 9.2.1, but when I launch iTunes, the DPS plug-in doesn't appear. Nor is it visible in the Window menu.
Any ideas?

The updated version of the DPS Plug-In addresses issues with iTunes 10.1 as Apple made major changes to the way plugins are handled. I will ask our software engineers if this may be causing the problem with your system. If so we will make both versions available.

We are pretty sure you are running into issues due to the updates that fix iTunes 10.1 issues. Unfortunately you will have to fully un-install the new version you currently have installed and install the older version.
Here are the instructions:
Use the un-installer first. Then delete anything Bongiovi related in these areas:
Profiles:
Root - Library - Application Support - Bongiovi AcousticsProgram:
Root - Library - Audio - Plug Ins - HALUser Preferences:
User - Library - PreferencesYou may now install the older version from this link: https://www.yousendit.com/download/cEdzTkZvWlQ1Ujd2Wmc9PQ
Activate by entering your email and password (the one you used to setup an account with us) into the Registration window of the DPS Plugin. Then click "Activate".

As I mentioned in my e-mail, something went awry. When I came to the "Install" step in the installer program, I get an error message that says, " You cannot continue. There is nothing to install".
I managed track down and download version 1.0 from another location. It installed without any probs. The plug-in works as advertised. Sounds absolutely fantastic with the right profile.
