I am a new user of the plug-in for iTune and love it. As a matter of fact all my family thinks it is an amazing add on to iTune especially when using the small speakers built into laptops. Even with the iMac and outside computer speakers the overall performance of DPS sound is spectacular. I used Apple loos-less files and Flac files for the comparison.
Listening to music with headsets; I experienced increased clarity in the middle and high frequencies with no distortion even at high volume. I used a Denon AH-D7000 (http://www.usa.denon.com/ProductDetails/4635.asp) The quality of the sound was very close to the sound from my SACD player Sony SCD-XA5400ES.
The DPS made the soundstage larger and more airy, transient response and speed were superior, treble extension and smoothness were better than listening with out it. Midrange smoothness and tonal accuracy was also greatly improved.
Watching movies was also really nice as it improved the overall sound quality.

It would be great if the software in could be used on Apple TV as well as iPods
In addition I would appreciate if the software could also be used with other programs outside of Itunes, such as Quicktime, and also wihle surfing the net to make Youtube sound better.
I became accustomed with this program with the iHome iP1 (http://www.ihomeaudio.com/iP1) If it where not for the Bongiovi DPS these speakers would be ordinary, with it they are outstanding and sound better than my Zepplin from B&W that are twice the price.
