I too still can't activate the Mac system wide beta? Same as NukeFixer, I log into my account and can't see any licensing for it?
Hope your feeling better Joey!

Thanks for understanding guys. The doc said it sounded like pneumonia so I'm pumped up on Z-pack and steroids. Woo Hoo! I am feeling much better today. I'm getting caught up on everything now.
I know it should say what activations you have available under "Licenses" but that's a bit of code we still have to get to. It's on the list.
Here is how you can tell what activation you have available: Just log into http://store.dpsplugin.com and click "View Order History". Then click "View" next to the most recent order (at the top). If you have been given an activation you will see the payment method is ADMIN and the product is "DPS Plug-In for Mac System Wide Audio".
I'm trying to add your activation(s) within 24hours of your completion of the survey. If you still haven't been given an activation just email me at support@bmtdps.com. That is for those of you who own DPS activations currently.
For those of you who are new to DPS and want one of these activations (a $29.99 value) please email me with a cool story about how you are going to use this software and help us spread the word to the rest of the Mac community.
Joey,
Many thanks, I am now activated,
I have gone into iTunes and turned off the DPS plugin for it, as you said we do not need to have it running concurrently with the Mac SW beta, correct?
As I previously mentioned, how do we know what the latest version is available to download and test?
nuke
Joey, I am showing version 3 as the latest version of Mac SW beta, is this correct?
nuke
May I also humbly suggest a forum so the beta testers can submit there issues there as well as email, that way everyone that is beta testing will be able to read them and be advised of the issues and also any fixes?
Nuke
Joey,
What a terrible time to be ill, hope you did not have family visiting for Thanksgiving, or for that matter I hope you did not have travel plans, best to stay home and fight it...... hope you feel better real soon, with the medicine you mentioned you are taking, you got a nasty dose of it.... I feel for you.......
nuke
While I am in a writing mood, may I wish a Happy Thanksgiving to everyone here, or who reads this on the forum.
I am on call at work for any emergent issues that may come up..... I was given a choice for Thanksgiving or Christmas, so I chose Thanksgiving so I could be off and out of town for Christmas.
I wish everyone a very nice Thanksgiving with family and loved ones!

All fixed and working for me perfectly! Thanks Joey. I haven't had any problems from almost 24 Hours of continual use and i'm loving it! Works perfectly on everything I've tried so far.
Well I have started experiencing my first few probe (nothing major) in Mac SW Beta. First, I have it set to launch upon start up, but the menu bar shows it off. ("Turn DPS On"). Second, when I select to turn it on, it works, but then I get an echo. Oddly enough, the echo goes away if I click the "b" icon several times. Second, today (for the first time) when I turned it on, it locked up iTunes and no sound at all. I "force quit" iTunes and restarted and all worked fine. Soooo that's something I'll try to watch and see if it replicates. However, the fabulous system-wide application is such a pleasure and I am thoroughly enjoying it (even with these few glitches).
Well, three times today upon booting up my iMac, DPS did not launch on startup, even though I have "launch on startup" checked in the preferences and it appears on the toolbar with "Turn DPS on". If I select to turn it on and iTunes is open, it locks up and nothing works. After force quitting iTunes if ti select to turn DPS on, then reload iTunes all works. Soooooo, there is an issue!!!!!!
Excellent! That's why we are doing this. I will add it to the list.
As per nukes's suggestion I have created a few new forum categories to help organize the feedback coming in. Just consider this link: http://www.dpsinsider.com/forums/forum/dps-system-wide-plug-in-for-mac-beta
Your base of operations for reporting issues and you will always know where to post. I've made these topics sticky (green) for easy access.
Let's keep this topic for general questions and comments about the beta program
Joey,
Hope today finds you much better health?
Remember to take care of yourself first, this forum can wait till you feel better, we all will survive alone for a few days!
So far I have only found the one issue with the Mac SW beta regarding the wirelessly connected bluetooth external speaker and have posted it within the "sticky" forum appropriate to my issue/problem.
Is there anyway to email everyone thats testing when a new beta build is available to install and test?
Would be much more efficient then everyone checking a website......... again a suggestion for you to consider?
nuke
Joey,
I had recently received a reply back regarding how to know or where to go to view the latest beta build and they suggested I go here, http://help.dpsplugin.com/wiki/, however they mentioned the latest build listed was in fact a mistake and also now on this site, the build number is gone?
I suggest you should again consider like you have done with the other forum listings and within the folder forums, whereby you have set up sub folders to post and log problems/issues encountered by Mac SW beta testing members another folder showing the current build by number and a link to download it?
Maybe name it "latest Mac SW beta build" or something, ha-ha........
In addition, as the new beta builds get posted, please list what was corrected so it can be checked by the testers and in turn..........
I suggest us beta testers when we post an issue to a forum, put down what build the issue/problem its associated with, so we all know so we can refine our beta tests with your associated corrections within the updated builds.
Make sense?
nuke
Makes sense! I'll make the version thread. It seems pretty organized to me as long as we all start at: http://www.dpsinsider.com/forums/forum/dps-system-wide-plug-in-for-mac-beta
and yes, I'm feeling much better. Thanks for asking!
Folks,
I will be going to Asia in a few days so I won't be adding new Mac SW activations. While I'm away, please email support@bmtdps.com to request a Mac SW activation after you have finished the beta survey. Thanks!
Have a good trip Joey!
nuke
Installed the beta last night on Mac OSX Lion 10.7.2.
This far working flawlessly on:
iTunes 10.5.1
Pandora (Safari 5.1.2) (Google Chrome 15.0.874.121)
Spotify V 0.6.5.2
-Jimd
'Ain't no bugs (on me)
Thanks JimD!
I'm back peoples! The trip to Asia was amazing and the food and people were outstanding. I'll post a travel log on the Insider with some of the details. Exciting stuff!
I understand we are close to having a new beta build for everyone to try. We've been able to address many of the issues that have been reported. We are also not requiring activation for the next beta version. It will simple expire after 30 days. I'll keep you posted with updates as I receive them.
I'd like to thank Joe Beaty, Rob Summers and the rest of the gang for holding down the fort while i was away. You guys rock!
Welcome back Joey, glad to hear you enjoyed the Asia jaunt.
Looking forward to the next beta build, please ensure its labeled correctly this time as far as build version and a good place to download it.
You are most welcome Joey! You don't have to twist my arm about being involved in this awesome community that is DPS! Definitely get with me about posting a travel (b)log!
I've made it easier for everyone! We set up this beta program to require a little too much manpower so we have decided to simplify things. Here is the download link for the latest version:
http://help.dpsplugin.com/wiki/doku.php?id=beta_rush_download_sector
This is an interim build that will expire January 16th, 2012. Since things go confused with the versioning we are starting over with 0.1a and this version actually displays this version number (instead of 3). The next will be 0.2a etc.
Let's keep the feedback and discussion coming here to the forum. You can always reach me at xaqmusic@bmtdps.com if you have questions but it is easier to get a feel for how this is progressing by watching your discussions here.
Thanks Joey,
download and install went smoothly.
I love that i don't have to live with a wrong date anymore (i actually missed an appointment because of that)
The new Plug-In Behavior is fantastic.
Keep up the good work.
