   It also won't recognize that I've selected the 24" Cinema Display as my desktop choice that I downloaded from the "Get Update".

   I completely uninstalled it. This includes deactivating it and then uninstalling. The I reinstalled and activated. No errors. But the GUI is transparent and it refuses to acknowledge the 24" CD selection.

   Yep. There are all kinds of strange things happening with iTunes 10.1. Unfortunately Apple does not pre release iTunes to developers like iOS so we have to catch these issues upon release. Keep the errors coming. They help us get a handle on things.
