Hey, guys.
I'm doing something crazy here. The distributor is going to an HD cam tape master of the last film I directed; and for my 2.0 foldown (from the 5.1 mix) - I'm monitoring through the IP1!
I guarantee this is the first it's been used in that respect!
This thing has so many uses - and sounds so amazing :-)
I'm sure lots of folks will we listening to the stereo mix through devices just like the iP1. A totally valid monitoring platform if you ask me! It is the "Studio Series" after all...
That's awesome to hear - it really helped me out. Could really differentiate the voices from room tone, sfx and music, etc.
I think a lot of mixers should give it a try!
I am working on a fun electronic thing at home and I plan on using the IP1 for mix monitoring...along with my Tapco S-8s...What a great tool for this...thanks for thinking of that guys!
