When trying to download cities profiles for desktop profile, tells me access denied. This doesn't happen to any other profiles.

I just tried to download the city profiles from the speaker profiles and didn't have any problems. What browser and OS are you using?

Check to make sure your copy of DPS is activated by clicking on Prererences and then the Registration tab. If it's not, you can't download the profiles. If it's activated, you'll see your email address and password. If it's not activated, those fields will be blank. There are instructions on the screen about going through the activation process. Otherwise, unless the site is having trouble, the download should work fine.

We were doing some server maintenance around that time. Is anyone still having trouble?

That's a Windows error message. The screen shot tells me the profiles have been downloaded, but you don't have access to the data in C:\ProgramData. Is your Windows user ID set up with Administrator authority? As a test, I tried logging in as a Guest user on my system, and I was not able to see, let alone access, C:\ProgramData.

Yes my account is full administrator privileges, so I really have no idea. Anyway, with that little tip I tried and reopened DPS with administrator privileges and that actually worked.

That was going to be my suggestion. For some reason Win 7 is quite particular about an application's permissions. It seems Windows would rather give a user full permissions above an application when it comes to accessing application data areas. It's the other way around for linux. But then, permission control in linux is easily fine tuned in a way Windows probably never will be :( Correct me if I'm wrong, Jim.

I definitely find the Windows 7 security scheme more complicated than previous versions of Windows, but I did not run into this problem with DPS. Glad to hear that kangy3 got it to work, though. This is why user forums are so beneficial. :)
