Hi Folks!

Here are the answers to a few of the issues that seem to be popping up:

1) I don't have enough time to try the plug-in in the 10 minute demo time:

Just restart iTunes. You will be able to try it for 10 more minutes as many times as you like.

2) I purchased a license but I am waiting for my confirmation code to activate the DPS Plug-In:

Activating the the DPS Plug-In doesn't require any codes. All you have to do is type the email address and password you used to buy the Plug-In into the Registration screen on the Plug-In. Then click Activate. The Plug-In will check to see that you have purchased a license automatically and become active.

3) How many computers can I have active per activation license?

Only one computer may be activated per license. We will be offering a multi-license pack shortly. You may login to your account at http://www.dpsplugin.com/index.php?route=account/login and click the Account tab to see how many activations you have purchased and what computers are currently activated.

4) When will the Windows version be available?

It looks like the Windows version will be available spring 2010!

5) Can I use the DPS Plug-In on my iPhone, iTouch or iPad?

Unfortunately Apple will not allow developers to process the audio stream from iTunes on the iPhone or its other mobile devices. We know the DPS would be a killer app for the iPhone! Maybe if they get enough feedback about this they will change their mind? *hint hint*

lol! funny you should say that. I'm getting ready to install ubuntu on my HTPC as the Evaluation Release Candidate version of Windows 7 is about to expire. Don't feel like paying Microsoft to watch my shows! As far as a linux port for DPS goes, the top brass says "all in due time!" I do, however, have the iHome iP1 connected to this system. The iP2 will be out shortly at a lower price than the iP1 and it has the DPS technology.

haha there ya go, thats how it should be! and i gotcha, its pretty cool that you guys are actually even considering it. Like honestly considering it. good to hear! Keep up the great work guys! I've honestly never been happier with a purchase than with this radio, by golly its so much more than what I paid for!

Have you considered making a DPS Plugin for the jailbroken iPhone community? You guys would no doubt get tons of sales with your AMAZING software and with the Jailbroken App Stores, Rock Your Phone and Cydia, you could sell it for whatever price you desired. It's believed that about 1/10th of iPhone users' devices are jailbroken. I can tell you out of my immediate family and closest friends, all of our iPhones are jailbroken and all of us would be more than willing to pay 10-20 bucks for an iPhone DPS Plugin. I own the IP1 and as soon as the PC iTunes DPS Plugin is released, I'll be purchasing it! Just consider broadening your horizons beyond the Apple App Store please =)

Well, I did find out that we are currently developing for iOS. I can't really say much more about it but I can say jailbreaking won't be necessary to enjoy DPS in the application(s) involved.

Also, while I'm feeding the rumors here are a few other tender morsels:

1) The DPS for Windows is now being tested. And it is NOT an iTunes plugin! It will work on all audio for your PC.
2) A full-system audio DPS for mac is also in testing.
3) You will be able to create/edit profiles in the future

That's Awesome! I'm not sure what you'd be able to say about a price point for the windows version yet but i am very excited for it. I was also wondering if you are working on or even still have a linux version planned... just wondering. and a profile for the Logitech Speaker System Z323 would be wonderfully amazing. for when i do buy the windows version.

Our activations licenses will actually continue to stay the same price at $29.99 (along with coupon codes and volume discounts). Activation licenses you currently own will allow you to activate any of the aforementioned new products on your computer of choice. As you may know it is easy to manage your account by logging into http://www.dpsplugin.com There you can see what computers you have activated so deactivating a computer to free up a license is simple.

In short, those of you who are currently using the DPS Plug-In for iTunes (mac) will not pay a penny to upgrade!

P.S. There is already a profile for the Z series Logitech speaker systems! It rocks!

Where exactly does the DPS plug-in install? I don't see it in the iTunes plug-in folder in the Library.

Since it is an iTunes plugin it lives in the system folders. It is not a stand alone application. The profiles are in Macintosh HD/Library/Application Support/Bongiovi Acoustics. The plugin itself is in HD/Library/Audio/Plugins/HAL.
