   Just a quick thought to (perhaps) help users choose profiles for their devices.

   It would be cool to have a "Recommended profiles for this device" section on the DPS plugin interface. This means there would also have to be something in the UI to allow users to recommend a profile. Something along the lines of "I use this profile with (insert device of choice here)".

   This could then allow a user to type in his/her speaker/headphone system and be presented with a smaller list of recommended profiles for that specific device.

   Would anyone else find this useful sometime in the future?

   Just a (not very refined) thought that may prove useful as the number of available profiles increase. :)

   Hey bnmguy! I was thinking of this a while ago but as a video series to help educate people about our individual profiles. We do encourage people to try all profiles for whatever their device might be. I think the overall encouragement to try all of the profiles is what we recommend because of the nature of how we listen. Different environments, etc. I do think this is a solid idea though. Joey would have a better idea of how a search type of function (like you mentioned) could be implemented. Certainly a good idea! Keep 'em coming!

   The idea we have been kicking around is creating a tool for our users to create their own profiles based on a current one of their choosing. They can then upload the profile to a repository so others can get them. The next step would be to do what you said, bnmguy and have a system here at DPS Insider to vet the profiles people submit. After other folks who have the device in question sign off on the profile we can make it available to the masses. This atmosphere experimentation will hopefully encourage others to try new profiles on different devices to see what is cross-compatible. Cloud Tuning!
