So since apple locks down their iphones, pods and pads, are there any chances we will see this on an android?

You know, I've been thinking about that more and more recently. Obviously there would be no restrictions about the platform which is a big plus. The negative is that Droid is so new and so open the quality isn't there yet for some of the users that are used to Apple's quality. However, it has the muscle of Google behind it. That's HUGE! It may need some time to improve but improve it almost certainly will. I'm curious about the current demographics for the Droid phones and how many people use them in lieu of iPods for mobile listening and/or video. Also, as Bongiovi Acoustics gets more DPS enabled devices onto the market the demand for us to be in these devices will certainly increase. I'll speak with the the powers that be to find out what the plans are for this!

Personally, I'd say Android is already more polished in many ways. Plus, you can run Android on the IPhone now. Best of both worlds.!

Yep. I'm getting ready to put Android on my old iPhone 3G. As a newcomer to jailbreaking I have to say it's pretty fun!
Also, since my post 2 months ago I've had the opportunity to check out the new Samsung Android phones with faster processors. I'm totally impressed! I don't think we need much convincing now ;)
