The difference, even over the VAR_03 option is so amazing. With the VAR_03, the clarity was there, but it was almost as if the gain was set a bit too high for the stock speakers. Hey, that happens, and it still sounded great. Once I loaded the Caliber profile, however, the difference was truly like night and day. All the sounds as well as the staging just fell right into place, and every piece of music I played sounded so good, that I could not help but giggle like a giddy little schoolgirl and repeatedly saying, "That's f**king awesome!" My next door neighbors must really think I have problems!! It was a truly gratifying experience, and I also want to say that I have not regretted this radio for one single instant. I am now a dedicated Bongiovi consumer. Anything you produce that I am able to buy, rest assured I will be buying it. I kind of wish I had a Mac for the DPS plug in. You never know, that may be my next investment. I do know several Mac owners I will be suggesting the plug-in to, though.</p> <p>I really did want to thank you all for making something that can be quite frustrating, such as tuning a radio, and turning it into a one-step process. This really does rival my 98 Civic's sound system, which includes a 600 Watt amp for the speakers, a 12 inch sub and 300 Watt amp, and a 7 Band Parametric Equalizer.
