Be sure no programs like iTunes or Mac SW are set to start automatically. You need to be sure no programs have accessed the DPS Reflector kernel extension before unloading it. Make sure your user has su privileges.</p> <p>2) Open terminal</p> <p>3) <strong>cd</strong> to /System/Library/Extensions. <strong>ls</strong> the contents to find the exact name of the DPSReflector.kext (I can't remember it off the top of my head).</p> <p>4) Enter <strong>sudo kextunload DPSReflector.kext</strong></p> <p>5) Enter <strong>sudo sudo rm -R DPSReflector.kext</strong></p> <p>6) Reboot again. The DPS Reflector should no longer appear in your Sound Preferences.</p> <p>Keep in mind the iTunes plugin and Mac SW share the same profiles folder in <strong>/Library/Application Support/Bongiovi Acoustics</strong> so you may not want to delete that. However, removing the DPS Reflector requires some funky command line stuff.
