Really guys, I just use an el cheapo 2GB usb drive that is very low profile and doesn't stick out too much. I really don't use the SD card slot at all. I have the KD-S100 in my Hyundai Tucson and have been using the line-in port mostly. I keep my tunes on my phone. Wish I could help out more...Bongiovi Acoustics designed the DPS audio processing in that unit and we really did not have anything to do with the rest of the architecture of the radio.
