It dosen't look like it creates a new output device in the Sound Setting panel for Windows or Mac but I could be wrong. If it does create a new output device then WIndows and Mac SW DPS will work. Just select the output from within the DPS application. You have 48 hours of demo time on the Windows version so why not try it?</p> <p>Otherwise Squeezebox works like Airplay and its main function is to get data to a player for decoding and playback.
