I did deactivate your license so try activating again. Let me know if you still have trouble.

Not a problem! We can always deactivate from our end to free up your license.

I can't deactivate it to release an activation since that computer is no more.

How can I get my activation back so I can activate it on my new MBP? I assumed when I deactivated iTunes that it would take care of anything and honestly I didn't know I had to deactivate DPS. It should ask you to do so when you deactivate iTunes. It's hard enough to remember to deactivate iTunes!
