I've tested some of the playback improvements made to 1.1 and they are quite substantial; most notably the sonic quality of Apple Lossless files being processed by DPS.</p> <p>You are correct in your item 1 in that Apple allows access to the iTunes library in a limited fashion to 3rd part apps like ours. In order to even play one song I believe a new playlist must be created. This creates a lot of intricate maneuvering in the background to provide emulation of the iPod's functionality. It would be wonderful if our app could just interact with the iPod player just as our DPS Plug-In does. All video content from iTunes has DRM so we have no access to that video library. However, you may sync videos to your device by placing them in your pictures folder via your computer.
