Hi, jksennish.

Thanks for bringing the HK Soundstick profile for Windows to my attention. I will add it right now.

The issue with Cities not loading is new. I'm guessing it's a permission problem. Try this:

1) quit DPS by clicking it's icon in the system tray and choosing "quit"
2) Open the Bongiovi Acoustics/Digital Power Station folder in your Start Menu under All Programs
3) right click on the Digital Power Staion icon and choose "Run as Administrator".

Also, have you ever had any beta version installed?

I have a Toshiba Satellite A665 with i3 Processor, Realtek hi-def sound card and built in Harmon/Kardon speakers that pair up nicely with my Sound Sticks

Was very dissapointed to download the Windows Version of DPS, buy a license and find that the Harman Kardon Soundstick profile was not available in this release. Will it be coming soon?

Also, I was experimenting with various profiles to see what might be the best substitute, now none of my cities will load. I receive an error message reading; "Access to C:\programData\Bongoivi Acoustics\Miami Speakers.bgvw was denied"

Is there a solution? I've looked all over this board.

Here is the link to the profiles that we made available.

http://www.bongioviacoustics.com/products-car-kds100beta.php

Yes only 1 profile on a CD to load it.

As for which one would work best in a 2005 Toyota Prius, I'm not sure but I'll ask one of the tuning engineers.

Rob,

I just purchased a used KD-S100 on Ebay and am about to get it installed. It did not, however, come with a CD. It was last used in a Dodge truck, which I'm sure sounds nothing like my 2005 Toyota Prius. Please forgive my "newbie" questions:

1. Are all the profiles, including the Universal ones, available for download on this website?

2. I just burn a profile onto a data CD, then follow your online instructions to install it, correct?

3. One profile only per CD?

4. The 2005 Toyota Prius is not, unfortunately for me, on the custom profile list. Any suggestions as to a profile that would come close?

Thanks
Andy

Is this link broken? I have an '08 Tundra (single cd radio) and am currently using var_03. Is there a profile that that would work better for me?

Found the profiles. I will try the Tundra SR5 profile. The SR5 does not have the same sound system in it as mine.

I've made a variation on the Universal 5 profile based on your input. Install it by copying this .bgv2 file into Macintosh HD/Library/Application Support/Bongiovi Acoustics. You will have to restart iTunes.

http://rcpt.yousendit.com/937456667/a40d71aef4444c43a24af199179040e1

Let me know what you think! All of our custom profiles are made by hand(and ear!) by having the audio product on our bench for us to play with. I'd like to see how making a profile by remote control like this will work out.

Great! Thanks for the detailed input. I will do a variation on that profile based on what you have said. Since I don't have those speakers presently I will rely on your feedback and perhaps we can come up with an excellent profile for those speakers quickly! Also, as far as distortion goes, see if lowering the volume control in itunes (top left) to about 80% helps.

Hi there,

Really quite impressed with this plug-in, thanks for your hard work on it! Wondering if you might be into doing a custom profile for the Yamaha HS-50M powered speaker? I think what might sound best is something close to "universal 5" setting with a bit less limiting / compression. With everything set flat in itunes (no sound enhancer, eq, etc.) I'm hearing a bit of distortion every now and again.
Thanks again!

Finally after long last we have a HK SoundSticks 2 profile available for download! I even made a rather lengthy youtube video (in two parts) to document my tuning of these very excellent speakers. Check it out: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SNo-kFVB14Q

I'm sorry that the profiles haven't been flowing quite as fast lately, however, quite a few very interesting projects have been occupying our time! Namely, the Windows version which is shaping up nicely!

I love my JVC KDS100 and am currently using VAR03 profile. I checked the list of custom profiles, but there are none listed for Dodge Caravan or similar vehicle.

Could anyone maybe suggest one of the custom profiles which may be close to a Dodge Grand caravan?

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks.

Danny.

I have tried the Logitech Z4 setting. I like it very much with the Universal 5 as a close second. Still, it would be nice to get our own Soundsticks customized profile. I hope it come soon.
Thanks.

I suggest trying the Logitech Z4 profile or the Creative Labs Inspire profile. Let me know how those sound on the Soundsticks.

I have the original USB Harman/Kardon Soundsticks. Can they use the same profile as the Soundsticks II when you release it? Also, what is the closest desktop speaker profile I can use meanwhile?
Thanks

Hello all,
I've created a profile for Logitech desktop 2.1 systems. The profile sounds excellent on so many different models of 2.1 systems (two small speakers on your desk with a subwoofer box on the floor) that I'm considering the creation of a new "universal" profile for these types of systems. That's too many universal profiles! So we will be moving away from the "universal profile" wording in favor of a system that makes it easier for our users to choose a profile that works best for them.
Look forward to a better labeling and organization system for profiles that sound great on many different variations of a certain type of audio system. We will be incorporating the type of device into the name (small desktop speakers, closed ear headphones, travel speakers etc.) as well as an emotional description for different variations of that profile.
Don't worry folks, we will still be creating custom profiles for devices but we hope the new system will get our users up and running quickly with excellent sound if a custom profile is not available for their device.
I will keep everyone up to date as we proceed with these updates and look forward to hearing your feedback!
Joe
