<description>&#60;p&#62;Often when I work on a songwriting gig (or a session where my expertise is needed)...I have a general formula or two that I consider to be the pop song structure. Usually a melody of some kind or a lyric is where it all begins. Once I have at least that melody, I then get a verse and chorus idea..then put it to a structure. Which is usually either- Intro/verse/chorus/music/verse/chorus/bridge/chorus...(or)...intro/verse/pre-chorus/chorus/music/verse/pre-chorus/chorus/bridge/pre-chorus/chorus. Woo!...that's a mouthful. Does anyone have another structure they use while writing a song?
