Usually a melody of some kind or a lyric is where it all begins. Once I have at least that melody, I then get a verse and chorus idea..then put it to a structure. Which is usually either- Intro/verse/chorus/music/verse/chorus/bridge/chorus...(or)...intro/verse/pre-chorus/chorus/music/verse/pre-chorus/chorus/bridge/pre-chorus/chorus. Woo!...that's a mouthful. Does anyone have another structure they use while writing a song? </p>
